Hi my name is Marc, I am a 31 year old Welshman and I am a geek. I’ve been blogging for nigh on 5 years and this here is my personal blog. My space for sharing whatever is on my mind.
What I do
Over the years (12 to be exact) I’ve worn many hats; IT support, web developer, web programmer, I’ve even dabbled with biology (genetics) and teaching.

Biography
Marc is a bona fide geek! His hobbies include Aikido, chess, reading, writing and all things sci-fi!
From a very young age Marc loved reading, his earliest teachers noted that his reading age was advanced for his true age. He blames his mother entirely. She was the one that introduced him to Enid Blyton and Marc can recall fond memories of The Famous Five and The Secret Seven.
Marc never truly wrote though. In fact he used to hate any homework assignment where he had to write a story! These days he loves to write. Amongst other kinds of writing he has a particular like of roleplay; creating characters and then acting them out. Among the myriad of characters he has played two tend to stand out – a gypsy and a Star Trek Captain!

Had an idea…teach (Thesis) blog-building in schools that are passionate about getting the kids to get their education in Welsh! The kids would love it, you could liaise with all departments (art department projects, music department projects, business studies etc) and instead of the often irrelevant computing studies stuff kids have to learn, they’d be offering something current, ,useful entrepreneurial and fresh!
